Saints basketball lost a hard fought battle to Shenandoah Zeps 52 to 51 at TCC Tuesday night. After a low scoring, back and forth fourth quarter, the Zeps hit a buzzer beater that bounced high off the rim and into the basket to claim the victory.
The Saints led 18 to 14 after the first quarter and 33 to 30 at the half. The score was tied at 44 after three quarters.
Zander Sabin led all players with 18 points and 4 assists. Toby Grossi was also in double digits for the Saints with 10 points. Shenandoah had three players in double digits. Leading the Zeps was #1 Dunvier with 14 points, followed by #5 Devollp with 12 points, and with 10 points #41 McVicker.
