Tuscarawas Central Catholic Varsity Lady Saints Walk It Off Against Buckeye Trail By GameChanger Media It came down to the wire on Tuesday, as Tuscarawas Central Catholic Varsity Lady Saints grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 6-5, over Buckeye Trail. The game was tied at five in the bottom of the eighth when Saniyah Weston doubled, scoring one run. Weston collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Weston doubled in the eighth inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the sixth inning. Buckeye Trail got on the board in the top of the first inning after E Ashby doubled, scoring two runs, and E Watson singled, scoring one run. The starting pitcher allowed eight hits and five runs over eight innings, striking out seven and walking one. E Patterson took the loss for Buckeye Trail. The starting pitcher went seven and two-thirds innings, surrendering six runs (two earned) on 12 hits, striking out seven and walking none.
