Tuscarawas Central Catholic Athletics

Tuscarawas Central Catholic had a solid showing at the Legends Invitational, with athletes across the roster contributing and continuing to build experience. On the boys side, Alex Mercier led the way with a strong 7th-place finish in the 3200m, while Steven Simpson put together a consistent effort in both the 400m and 800m. The sprint group, including Sidney Dugger, Alex Utuy, Lukas Kelley, and Rylan Rogers, competed well and continues to make progress, and the throwers and jumpers added valuable performances across their events. For the girls, Elena Price set a new school record in the 1600m and also won the 800m, highlighting a strong day in the distance events. In the sprints, Lexee Kelley and Sybil Cronebaugh showed effort and improvement, while Sophia Cronebaugh contributed in both sprinting and field events, helping round out the team’s performance.
