REGIONALS UPDATE: Strong Showings for the Saints in Chillicothe The Tuscarawas Central Catholic track team traveled to Chillicothe, Ohio, to compete in the Regional track meet at Southeastern High School. Under perfect weather conditions, the Saints faced off against top-tier competition. Field Events: Pole Vault Junior Nolan Pugh capped off a stellar season with a standout performance in the pole vault. Facing a highly competitive regional field, Pugh successfully cleared a height of 12'-0" to secure an impressive 8th-place finish for the Saints. After a season defined by consistent growth and hard work, Pugh wraps up his junior year on a high note and looks onward to a promising senior season next year. Track Events: 3200m As the sun began to set over the Southeastern High School track, the atmosphere grew electric. Alex Mercier took to the line under the twilight skies to represent Tuscarawas Central Catholic in the grueling 3200-meter run. Mercier fought hard through a tough field, crossing the finish line with a time of 10:48.69 to earn a 16th-place finish, marking a strong and successful conclusion to his season. Looking Ahead to Saturday The Regional action is not over yet for the Saints. Elena Price will be back on the track this Saturday to compete in the 800-meter run. Let's keep the momentum going!
