TCC Volleyball picked up a straight-set victory against Conotton Valley, winning 25-15, 25-15, 25-21, bringing the Saints’ record to 4-4 on the season. Ryann Walker led the Saints’ attack with 15 kills, hitting .400. She also added 6 digs, 1 ace and a block. Reese Knight followed with a strong offensive performance, finishing with 11 kills and a .455 hitting percentage, while also contributing 10 digs and an ace. Setter Jessica Selinsky directed the offense with 34 assists while also contributing 3 kills, 8 digs, an ace and a block. Elena Dodson finished with 5 kills and a block, while Lucy Oberholzer recorded 4 kills, 3 digs and a block. Lynsie Tienarend added 2 kills, and Kieran Fausel added 2 kills while leading the defense with 17 digs. Kamryn Fausel added 4 digs for the Saints. The Saints were strong from the service line as Suzanna Sica-Calel led the way with 6 aces. Katelyn Breehl and Kieran Fausel each added 3 aces, while Dodson, Walker, Knight and Selinsky each recorded one. The TCC JV team also earned a dominant straight-set win, taking both sets 25-5, 25-5. The JV Saints improve to 3-2 on the season. The Saints are back in action tonight, Thursday, at home against Newcomerstown, with JV beginning at 5:30 p.m. and varsity to follow.
