Tuscarawas Central Catholic Athletics

Saints Win Sixth Straight, Set Up Conference Showdown The Tuscarawas Central Catholic volleyball team extended its winning streak to six matches Tuesday night with a three-set sweep of East Canton. The streak also includes victories over Conotton Valley, Malvern, Strasburg, Newcomerstown and Kidron Central Christian. TCC will host Buckeye Trail on Wednesday, Oct. 14, with a chance to earn a share of the conference lead. A Saints victory would create a three-way tie for first place in the IVC. The matchup will also feature Senior Night and Elementary Night at the TCC gym. The Saints will recognize their seniors, while elementary students will receive free admission and a free popcorn. Fans are encouraged to wear black and pack the gym for the blackout-themed event. JV begins at 5:30 p.m., with varsity to follow. Support the Saints in this pivotal conference matchup.
