PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School cross country team concluded an exceptional 2026 season this past Saturday at the OHSAA Regional Cross Country Meet, hosted at Pickerington High School North.  Leading the charge for the Saints was standout runner Junior Alex Mercier, who delivered a great performance on the regional stage. Racing against a loaded field of 187 runners, Mercier crossed the finish line with an impressive time of 17:29, earning 28th place overall.  Mercier put up a fierce fight throughout the race, and was very close to advancing to the state cross meet and missed advancing by only a few spots overall.
