The TCC Saints delivered a commanding performance on the volleyball court, sweeping the John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles in straight sets — 25-15, 25-7, 25-23 — in a match that showcased both offensive firepower and defensive depth. Khloe Trivoli led the charge at the net with a standout performance, racking up 17 kills and 3 blocks, setting the tone early and keeping the Eagles’ defense on their heels throughout the match. Setting the pace offensively was Jess Selinsky, who distributed the ball with precision for 26 assists while adding 12 digs to anchor the Saints' back row. On the service line, Nora Jackson was a difference-maker, tallying 6 aces and 8 digs, fueling a second set where TCC overwhelmed JFK Catholic with aggressive, pinpoint serving. Miya Olson added to the offensive momentum with 9 kills and 3 aces, helping the Saints maintain control in key rallies. Meanwhile, Ryann Walker contributed 4 aces and 6 digs, keeping pressure on the Eagles and ensuring minimal room for a comeback. The Saints' defensive effort was rounded out by solid performances from Wynter Hayes (6 digs), Suzanna Sica Calel (5 digs), and Angel McConnell, who added a timely dig in a crucial third set that saw JFK Catholic make a late push. Despite a tighter third set, the Saints held strong under pressure to close out the match, completing the sweep and further solidifying their presence as a team to watch this season. The Saint JV fell to the Eagle (17-25, 21-25). Leading JV was Lynsie Tienarend with 6 kills, 3 aces, and 6 assists, Addi Meryo with 12 digs and 6 assists, and Suzanna Sica Calel with 3 aces and 10 digs. The saints improve their record to 10-3 (4-2). The saints will host Caldwell on Tuesday with the JV starting at 5:30.
