In a back-and-forth battle that tested grit, focus, and endurance, the TCC Saints emerged victorious over Caldwell in a five-set showdown: 25-19, 23-25, 19-25, 25-20, 15-9. With the win, the Saints demonstrated their resilience and ability to rally when the match was on the line. Leading the offensive charge was Khloe Trivoli, who delivered a dominant performance with 21 kills and 4 aces, proving to be a consistent threat at the net and from the service line. Her timely attacks helped shift momentum in critical stretches, especially in the fourth and fifth sets. Setting the tempo all match long was Jess Selinsky, who recorded 32 assists to go along with 3 aces. Selinsky’s smart distribution and connection with hitters like Trivoli kept the Caldwell defense guessing throughout the night. On the defensive end, Miya Olson stood tall at the net with 4 blocks and added 18 digs, making her presence known on both sides of the ball. She was joined in the back row by Nora Jackson and Ryann Walker, who anchored the Saints' defense with 19 digs and 15 digs, respectively. Both also contributed 2 aces each from the service line. The Saints also saw contributions from Bella Milburn, who added 3 blocks, Wynter Hayes with 3 digs, and Angel McConnell, who chipped in with 1 dig. After dropping the second and third sets, TCC showed mental toughness in the fourth set, winning 25-20 to force a deciding fifth. The Saints carried that momentum into the final frame, where they closed the door on Caldwell with a convincing 15-9 finish The Saint JV was defeated by Caldwell 14-25, 14-25.
