TCC Volleyball: Saints Take Down Malvern in Straight Sets Victory

The TCC Saints delivered a commanding performance on the court Tuesday night, sweeping Malvern in straight sets (27-25, 25-9, 25-13). Senior outside hitter Khloe Trivoli led the way for the Saints with an all-around standout performance, tallying 15 kills and 13 digs, consistently finding gaps in the defense while anchoring the back row. Setter Jess Selinsky ran the offense with precision, dishing out 23 assists and keeping Malvern’s blockers guessing with her quick sets and court awareness. After a tightly contested first set that ended 27-25 in favor of the Saints, TCC turned up the heat in the second and third sets, overwhelming Malvern with powerful attacks and relentless defense. Miya Olson added key contributions at the service line and net, recording 3 aces and 7 kills, sparking the Saints' momentum in the second set. Nora Jackson played a strong two-way game with 6 kills and 7 digs, while Ryann Walker chipped in with 2 kills and 4 digs, providing solid support in both the front and back row. Defensively, the Saints were sharp, with Wynter Hayes (5 digs), Angel McConnell (4 digs), and Bella Milburn (2 digs)all contributing to a backcourt that refused to let the ball hit the floor. The Saint JV team also defeated Malvern (25-23, 23-25, 25-22). Leading the JV Addi Meryo with 13 assists, 9 kills, and 7 aces. Suzanna Sica Calel lead with 20 digs and 7 aces. The Saints improve their record to 12-3 (5-2) as they prepare to travel to Conotton Valley on Tuesday with the JV starting at 5:30.
