Tuscarawas Central Catholic Athletics

The 8th grade volleyball team finished the regular season with an impressive 18-2 record, earning the #1 seed in the IVC North Tournament. In the final two weeks of the season, the team collected wins over: • Newcomerstown (25-21, 20-25, 25-11) • Carrollton (25-11, 25-16) • East Canton (25-17, 25-8) • Sandy Valley (25-18, 25-27, 25-23) They also had hard-fought matches against Garaway (21-25, 25-11, 22-25) and Newark Catholic (25-23, 27-29, 22-25). The team will begin tournament play on Saturday, October 4, at 10:30 AM at Malvern High School, where they will face the winner of Malvern and Strasburg. Congratulations to the athletes on a strong regular season, and best of luck as they begin tournament play.
