TCC Volleyball: TCC Dominates East Canton in Straight Sets Victory

The Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints delivered a commanding performance on the court Monday night, sweeping East Canton in straight sets — 25-6, 25-14, 25-11. Senior Khloe Trivoli led the offensive charge with a dominant showing, racking up 19 kills and 3 aces as the Saints controlled the tempo from the opening serve. Setter Jess Selinsky was instrumental in facilitating the offense, dishing out 23 assists to go along with 6 kills of her own, showcasing her versatility and leadership on the floor. Nora Jackson anchored the back row with 10 digs and contributed 8 assists, playing a key dual role in both defense and transition. Middle hitter Miya Olson added firepower at the net, tallying 10 kills and 2 blocks, helping the Saints establish control at the net and disrupt East Canton’s attack. Defensive specialist Ryann Walker chipped in with 8 digs and 3 aces, providing stability in serve-receive and service pressure. Other contributors included Angel McConnell, Lynsie Tienarend, and Suzanna Sica Calel, who each added an ace or dig to round out a balanced team performance. Bella Milburn and Wynter Hayes also made defensive contributions with a dig apiece. The dominant showing improved TCC’s record to 16-5 (9-3) and demonstrated the depth and strength of their roster as they continue their season with momentum. The Saints will travel to Strasburg for the IVC showcase with the time and opponent to be determined.
