Great day of running for the JRHS & HS Saints’ XC Teams! The kids showed up and showed out across the board today! The Varsity Program enters the qualifying rounds on a strong foot next week, hungry to move on, and the JRHS Program ends their season with an exceptional finale! HS Boys: Alex Mercier: 17/58, 18:16 (PR) & IVC Honorable Mention Steven Simpson: 32/58, 19:13 (PR) Collin Virag: 38/58, 19:49 (PR) HS Girls: Elena Price: 8/57, 20:13 & 2nd Team All IVC JRHS Boys: Nolan Jenkins: 20/49, 12:56 (PR) *Nolan started the season with his first race at the Claymont Early Bird with a time of 14:59. Thus, he dropped over 2 minutes across his first season on the team!* Gavin Virag: 34/49, 14:00 (PR) *Gavin started his 8th Grade year with a time of 16:52 at Claymont Early Bird as well. Meaning, he dropped nearly three minutes across his second season on the team! Gavin started his JRHS Career as a 7th Grader last year. His first race was completed in 20:18. Therefore, across his JRHS career, Gavin dropped nearly 6.5 minutes!* Again, congratulations to all the athletes that partook. It was an excellent day for the Saints’ Program. Onward to Districts!
