TCC Volleyball: TCC Saints Capture District Title with Gritty 3–1 Win Over Conotton Valley

Saints rally after dropping the first set to punch their ticket to the regional tournament In an electrifying district final matchup, the TCC Saints left it all on the court against Conotton Valley, showcasing grit, teamwork, and heart from the first serve to the final point. After dropping the opening set, the Saints stormed back to claim a 3–1 victory (14–25, 25–23, 25–22, 25–16) and secure the district championship. Leading the Saints’ offensive charge was Khloe Trivoli, who delivered a dominant performance with 33 kills, 24 digs, and 3 blocks. Trivoli’s power at the net and relentless defense fueled TCC’s comeback and helped swing the momentum in the Saints’ favor. Setter Jess Selinsky was the engine of the Saints’ attack, recording 28 assists along with 17 digs, setting up the offense with precision and hustling in the back row. Nora Jackson anchored the defense with an impressive 30 digs and added 3 aces from the service line, keeping Conotton Valley on its heels. Ryann Walker contributed on both ends of the court with 11 digs and 4 aces, providing a spark from the service line, while Miya Olson tallied 8 kills and 14 digs, balancing offense and defense with consistency. Defensively, Suzanna Sica Calel added 11 digs, while Angel McConnell chipped in 2 digs and 2 aces. Wynter Hayesrounded out the Saints’ defensive effort with 2 digs, helping to keep rallies alive throughout the match. With the victory, the Saints claimed the district title and advanced to the regional tournament. Their energy, effort, and unity were evident from start to finish. The Saints will travel to Zanesville on Thursday, October 30 with the game start time at 6pm.
