Saints Bowlers Roll Past New Phila Quakers

The Saints Seniors shine again to roll past the Quakers 2622 to 2496. Tyler Ross led the Saints with a 439 while Bailey McGinnis added a 421 and John Chaney a 382. The boys are now 4-2 overall. They will travel to Zanesville on Thursday to face Mayesville.

Lady Saints Bowlers top Quakers

The Lady Saints evened their record at 3-3 by defeating the Quakers by a score of 1848-1768. They were led by Madeline Rothrock’s 325, followed by Emma Slates’ 308, Alex Sica 288, Marisha Gonzalez 254, and Emily Garbrandt 249. The Saints return to action Thursday against Maysville at Sunrise Lanes.

Saints Girls move to 6-1 with IVC cross-over win at Claymont

Tuscarawas Central Catholic’s girls’ basketball team outscored Claymont 13 – 1 in the pivotal second quarter and held on for a 36-25 IVC cross-over win on the Mustangs’ hardwood.  Senior point guard Sage DeBois-Winnie scored all 9 of her points in the first half, including two 3-pointers.  Sophomore guard Reese Triplett also scored 7 points
