Friday was a long day for Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints, falling to Indian Valley 8-2.

Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints opened up scoring in the first inning, when Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints scored on a stolen base during Chase Harper’s at bat. Then Harper singled.

Indian Valley pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. Indian Valley scored four runs in the fourth inning. Gavin Henry, Rafe Bonifay, Grant Tschudy, and Kochman all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Kody Enos got the win for Indian Valley. The ace allowed eight hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out eight.

Harper took the loss for Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints. The pitcher went three and a third innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits and striking out two.

Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints tallied eight hits on the day. Ryan Dick, Kayden Crosier, and Harper each had multiple hits for Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints. Harper, Crosier, and Dick all had two hits to lead Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints.

Indian Valley collected ten hits on the day. Kochman, Henry, Lancaster, and Trevor Myers all collected multiple hits for Indian Valley. Kochman went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Indian Valley in hits.
